Details About Shipping Times

• Same Day! means the item is in stock and will be shipped the very same day from our warehouse if ordered by 2pm Central time, Monday thru Friday (orders received after 2pm will be shipped the next working day).  Tip:  If you are buying very near our 2pm deadline and need something shipped right away--call us rather than using the shopping cart since there can be a few minutes electronic delay via the website.
• 1-2 Days means the item will likely be shipped from our supplier's warehouse directly to your door but could, depending on supplier, ship from our warehouse in just a couple of days.  Here is how "drop ship" orders work:
  • After receipt of your order, we will confirm availability and place the "drop-ship" order with our supplier,
    caution: see notes below if you prefer Post Office shipping for a drop ship item
  • We'll email you a copy of your receipt with tracking information within 1 or 2 working days, 
  • In the case of an availability issue with any drop-ship item, we'll contact you before charging your card or placing a backorder so hopefully something acceptable can be worked out.
• 3-5 Days means we don't have the item in stock, but it is an item we regularly receive from our supplier (and it's an item that cannot be drop shipped).  Here's how we handle your order:
  • After receipt of your order, we'll confirm the 3-5 day availability estimate with our supplier and set up a "pending" order so that the item will ship from our warehouse just as soon as it is received,
  • In the case of an availability issue with any out-of-stock item, we'll contact you before charging your card or placing an extended backorder so hopefully something acceptable can be worked out.
• Other messages like Late April indicates the lead time on items that are known to be on extended back order.

Special note about your shipping preferences and "1-2 days" drop-ship orders":  We will enter a "drop ship" order with our supplier with the same level of shipping service which you ordered through our website (ground, 3 day air, 2 day air, etc).  Our suppliers offer shipment by either UPS or FedEx, but we don't have the choice with each supplier, so your package will be shipped by whichever carrier they normally use.  Sorry, but our suppliers don't ship via US Post Office, so if you order US Post Office shipping, we will ship your order from our warehouse in Texas.  In those cases, merchandise with an indication of "1-2 days" will become "3-5 days"--working days that is, since the merchandise will have to come to our warehouse before we ship to you.

Don't worry about shipping costs on multi-item orders:  When your order includes both "Same Day!" items and "1-2 days" or "3-5 days" items, we will split the shipping charge between invoices so that the total cost of the order is the same as indicated when you ordered (meaning no extra shipping charges for you).
